Zanna Westring

Technical Development Manager

Zanna Westring joined Quant as a project manager in 2015. Since then, she has worked in several different roles and is currently Technical Development Manager at Quant’s site in Ludvika, Sweden, leading the work of her team of fifteen people.

After working in various roles at Scania, Zanna Westring started as a project manager at the transport department at Quant’s site in Ludvika in 2015. Since then, she has developed within the company and now she is working as Technical Development Manager, leading the work of her team consisting of fifteen employees.

– I have developed a lot during my years at Quant. Both as a person, but also in my professional role, she says.

– I have learned a lot about leadership, customer relations, agreements and also maintenance, since I did not know that much about that area when I switched from the transport department to the maintenance department in 2017.

“That’s the best thing about my job”

A typical working day includes everything from various meetings to supporting employees and having customer contacts, as well as planning and follow-up of various projects. Safety work is also a natural part of the everyday work.

– My safety thinking has developed a lot since I started here, because Quant is so good at safety. We constantly work proactively in different ways to avoid accidents and incidents.

Zanna believes that Quant is a good place to work for those who want to develop and try different roles in their professional life. There are many areas to work in and thus great opportunities to broaden your competence.

And it is the development and success of the team that she thinks is the best thing about her job.

– There is nothing better than when different functions work together and solve a problem. When we succeed together as a team, that is the best thing about my job. To see all employees be successful, develop and to achieve goals.
